Our studio is Open Monday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM And Closed on Sundays.
We have the option to take the walk-ins and the small spontaneous tattoos No appointment necessary, so feel free to contact us or come see us directly at the studio to check our availability.
For any session lasting more than 2 hours, A deposit will be required. to confirm your appointment.
Without this deposit, no appointment can be confirmed.

The studio is ideally located in the heart of Nice, 8 Rue Foresta, at two steps from the Port and of the Garibaldi Square.

From Nice Riquier Station
On foot: This is the simplest option!
Exit the station and walk down towards the Port via Rue Arson or Boulevard de Riquier.
The studio is only a 10-minute walk away.
Estimated time: 10 minutes.
From Nice Ville train station (Central Station)
By Tram (Line 1):
Take line 1 towards "Hôpital Pasteur".
Get off at the "Garibaldi" stop.
From there, head back towards the Port, Festa Street is a small, quiet street perpendicular to the main roads.
Estimated time: 10-15 minutes.
On foot: For walkers, allow approximately 20 minutes going down Avenue Jean Médecin and then crossing the Old Town.
From Nice Côte d'Azur Airport
By Tram (Line 2):
Take line 2 towards "Port Lympia".
Get off at the terminus «Port Lympia» or stopped «Garibaldi / The Castle».
The studio is less than a 5-minute walk from these stations.
Estimated time: approximately 35 minutes.
Parking: If you are coming by car, the «Port Lympia» car park or the «Promenade des Arts» car park are the closest.

The wait time varies depending on the project and our availability. Small tattoos can often be completed quickly, while larger projects generally require up to two weeks. Contact us to find out the earliest available appointment.
Can you get a tattoo without an appointment?
Yes. We can often do small tattoos without an appointment, depending on our availability that day. If you'd like to get a tattoo on the same day, please call us before coming to the studio to check if a slot is available. We gladly welcome walk-ins, but we cannot guarantee a spot without a confirmed booking.
Are there any risks associated with tattooing?
When performed by a professional tattoo artist under impeccable hygiene conditions, tattooing presents very few risks. At Inkwell Tattoo Nice, we adhere to strict health protocols and exclusively use inks that comply with European regulations. For your safety, please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or history of illness before your appointment.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The price of a tattoo depends on its size, placement, level of detail, and the time required to complete it. Our minimum price is €80, while a full day of tattooing can cost up to €600. As each project is unique, we will provide a personalized quote after discussing your idea, references, and desired placement.
Does getting a tattoo hurt?
Getting a tattoo is rarely painless, but the sensation varies from person to person and depends on the area being tattooed. Body parts near bones are generally more sensitive, as are sessions lasting several hours. In most cases, our clients find the experience quite bearable.
How do I prepare for my tattoo session?
We recommend getting a good night's sleep the night before, eating a proper meal before your appointment, and staying well hydrated. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area to be tattooed. Avoid alcohol and drugs for 24 hours prior to your session. For longer sessions, feel free to bring snacks, drinks, and headphones or any other distractions.
How long will it take to complete my tattoo?
How do I care for my tattoo after the session?
Keep your tattoo clean and protected throughout the healing process. Avoid scratching it, picking at the scabs, swimming, or excessive sun exposure. All aftercare instructions will be explained in detail at the end of your session.
How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?
Most tattoos heal on the surface in 10 to 14 days. Complete healing under the skin can take up to 6 weeks. It is especially important to follow the aftercare instructions during the first 10 days to achieve the best possible result.
Are there any restrictions after getting a tattoo?
Yes, several precautions are essential to ensure excellent healing:
Sun : Avoid all direct sun exposure for 3 weeks (application of total sunblock will be required afterwards).
Swimming: No prolonged immersion (swimming pool, sea, bath, sauna, hammam) during the first week.
Sport: Avoid strenuous physical activity during the first week to prevent stretching the skin and to limit perspiration in the area.
Can I come with my own project or reference photos?
Of course. Reference photos are very helpful in understanding your desires and style. We use them as inspiration to create a unique tattoo tailored to your project.
Do you make cover versions?
In many cases, yes. The feasibility of a cover-up depends on the size, color, age, and intensity of the existing tattoo. A cover-up generally requires a larger tattoo than the one being covered. Send us some clear photos, and we'll advise you on the best options.
Is it possible to get a tattoo over a scar?
